Day Shift Work Schedule-
Monday-Thursday with mandatory OT Friday and Saturday, 6:00am-4:30pm

General Manufacturing Assemblers & Machinist & Material Handlers Criteria/Qualifications
  • Experience preferred in warehouse production/manufacturing, although we will train
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Fast paced
  • Repetitive movements (Heavy lifting required for some positions)
  • Standing long periods of time
  • Regular use of heavy/light hand tools
  • Bending/pushing/pulling/lifting

Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining of plant equipment, tools, and the facility in order to keep plant processes in a reliable and safe condition through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and the availability of spare parts.  
  • Work both in tandem with other technicians, operators, and engineers, and autonomously to perform these tasks to the best of their ability.
  • Provide necessary support to keep all Production and Facility equipment functioning properly and safely. (troubleshooting / repair / preventive maintenance)
  • Perform PM’s on plant equipment, keeping maintenance lead informed as to whether PM schedule should/could be modified for current equipment.  Also help keep maintenance lead informed and aware as to whether important and necessary stocked replacement parts are at low or inadequate levels.
  • Construction, Installation, and Debugging of new equipment.
  • Be willing to attend various training opportunities in order to become better equipped to meet the growing needs and demands of the company.
  • All other duties as assigned which are in the interest of the Marwin Company.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

  • High school degree (or equiv.) minimum.
  • 2+ years maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess good mechanical, electrical, pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Can read and understand basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Basic welding, machining, and fabrication skills a plus.
  • Successful completion of any technical training programs/degrees 

Maintenance Manager
  • LOCATION: 107 McQueen Street West Columbia, SC 29172
  • QUALIFICATION: Background and knowledge in the following: National Electric Code, NFPA, Arc Flash, OSHA, LOTOTO, Confined Space, local laws, and regulations

Maintenance Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Allocate workload and supervise maintenance technicians
  • Forward thinking by promoting a proactive mentality
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) from equipment failures and implement corrective actions 
  • Manage relationships with vendors, contractors and service provider
  • Communicate regularly with management about issues impacting production
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Develop KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for maintenance 
  • Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with using a regular audit schedule
  • Identify and/or develop training for maintenance technicians for continuous development
  • Monitor and communicate maintenance budget and expenses
  • Plan for cost reductions 
  • PMs (Preventive Maintenance) must be created, reviewed, updated, planned, and development to be effective for operations

Maintenance Manager Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including plumbing, piping, reliability, electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
  • Hands on work ethic
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
